Bell Bronzes 2 is a composition for soprano and five Brethouwer bells.
Dutch visual artist Harmen Brethouwer devoted many years to recast the Western church bell in the shape of a cone.
These minimalistic art objects, manufactured in collaboration with Royal Eijsbouts bell foundry, are of course also musical instruments, each with its own unique overtone spectrum.
Bell Bronzes 2 adds an aural dimension to the visual contemplation of these exquisite objects.
